This proposition requires businesses to provide warnings to Californians about exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. It actually became law in November of 1986 and its chemical list has been growing since. However, it was recently altered to include new warnings and more specific internet regulations that take effect at the end of the month.
