critical TRADEMARK_VIOLATION

Trademark or IP Violation Detected

What this means

Your listing uses a brand name, logo, or copyrighted content you do not have rights to use. Walmart removed the listing under its IP protection program.

Why this happens

Walmart's Brand Portal lets rights-holders flag infringing listings. Common triggers include using a brand name in the title for a generic product, comparison phrases ("like Apple"), copying copyrighted images, or selling unauthorized branded goods. Walmart also detects high-risk brand keywords automatically.

How to fix it

  1. Remove the disputed brand name and imagery from the listing
  2. If you are an authorized reseller, submit invoices via Brand Portal
  3. Replace product images with original photography
  4. Use generic descriptors instead of comparison brand names
  5. File a counter-notice in Seller Center if the takedown was wrong
