Missing UPC

Walmart Marketplace blocked your product because the UPC field is empty. Walmart's catalog matching is built around UPCs, and items without one can't be matched or listed.

Either the upc field is empty, the column is missing from the spec, or you supplied an internal SKU where a UPC was expected.

1. Confirm the product has a real UPC. Walmart accepts standard 12-digit UPCs (UPC-A) — not internal codes or fake-generated ones.
2. If the product genuinely has no UPC (handmade, custom, private label), apply for a UPC exemption through Seller Center. You'll need to justify the exemption per item.
3. Validate UPC check digits before submission — Walmart's validator is strict about checksums.
4. Use the dedicated upc field in the Walmart spec, not a generic identifier column.
