Descriptions and bullets cannot contain hyperlinks, email addresses, or off-Walmart contact info.

Walmart Seller Center validates descriptions against length limits, prohibited HTML, and content policies. Active scripts, external resources, off-platform redirects, or excessive promotional copy trigger this.

1. Strip JavaScript, iframes, and active content. Most channels accept basic HTML formatting only.
2. Trim to channel-specific limits (most: 5,000 chars for full descriptions).
3. Remove off-channel checkout links — descriptions can't redirect away from the platform.
4. Replace promotional 'Buy now!' style copy with descriptive product information.
5. Re-submit and verify in the next processing cycle.
