Title or attributes lack a recognized brand

TikTok could not identify a brand for this product. Either the brand attribute is empty or the value does not match an approved brand.

TikTok Shop requires a brand value for nearly every category, and unbranded items must explicitly use 'No Brand' or 'Generic' from the dropdown rather than leaving the field blank. Listings that ship a free-text brand the system has not seen before may also be flagged for brand verification, especially in beauty, electronics, and apparel where counterfeit risk is higher.

1. Open the product in Seller Center and locate the brand attribute.
2. Select an existing brand value or apply for brand registration.
3. For unbranded products, choose 'No Brand' or 'Generic'.
4. Resubmit after the field is populated correctly.
