Snapchat's commerce policy prohibits products that fall into restricted categories - alcohol, tobacco, weapons, drugs, adult products, gambling, and certain regulated health items. Affected products are removed from all Snapchat surfaces.
Either the product genuinely belongs to a banned category, or copy/imagery accidentally signals one. Snapchat's classifier scans titles, descriptions, and images, and it skews conservative because the platform's audience is heavily Gen Z and younger. Borderline categories like CBD, vaping accessories, and some supplements are blocked outright in many regions.
