Feed not refreshed in 7+ days

What this means

Pinterest requires every catalog data source to be refreshed at least every 7 days. If a feed goes longer without an update, products lose distribution eligibility and ad spend stops.

Why this happens

Either the scheduled fetch URL stopped responding (CDN moved, password changed, FTP credential rotated), or the manual upload cadence simply lapsed. Pinterest considers stale data a quality risk - prices, availability, and links drift quickly in retail.

How to fix it

  1. Open Catalog Manager and check the last-ingested timestamp on each data source.
  2. If you use a scheduled fetch URL, confirm it returns a fresh file with current timestamps.
  3. Move the feed to a daily refresh schedule rather than weekly - it's safer.
  4. Set up a feed-monitoring alert that notifies you if ingestion fails twice in a row.
  5. Trigger a manual ingestion to clear the warning immediately.
