warning NON_SPECIFIC_CALLS_TO_ACTION_L

Non-specific calls-to-action like 'click here' (reason 53)

What this means

Generic CTAs such as 'click here', 'go now', or 'visit website' are not allowed because they describe the user action rather than the product or offer.

Why this happens

Microsoft Merchant Center validates titles against character limits, casing rules, and content policies — promotional language, all-caps, special characters, or keyword-stuffed titles are rejected.

How to fix it

  1. Trim title to the channel's character limit (most: 150–200 chars).
  2. Use Title Case — capitalize first letters of major words, not entire words. Remove ALL CAPS phrases.
  3. Remove promotional language: 'SALE', 'Best Quality', 'Free Shipping', 'Buy Now', etc.
  4. Format consistently: Brand + Model + Key Specs + Color/Size + Pack.
  5. Re-submit; title updates typically propagate within 1–4 hours.
