Excessive Capitalization in Title or Description

What this means

Microsoft prohibits ALL CAPS or heavy capitalization in product titles and descriptions. This includes shouted words, gimmicky brand stylings, and acronyms used promotionally.

Why this happens

Merchants copy-paste manufacturer titles in all caps, use capitalization for emphasis ("BEST DEAL"), or include acronyms like SALE, NEW, HOT throughout copy. Microsoft's ML treats this as spammy promotional language and rejects offers automatically.

How to fix it

  1. Rewrite titles in title case: capitalize first letter of each major word only
  2. Allow legitimate acronyms (USB, LED, HDMI) but not promotional ones
  3. Remove words like SALE, NEW, BEST from titles
  4. Re-submit feed after edits
