What this means

Meta blocks listings that exclude or target based on protected categories — race, religion, age, disability, gender identity, etc.

Why this happens

Often unintentional — gendered apparel descriptions ('men's only'), age-restricted titles ('seniors-only walker'), or religious-targeted products framed exclusively.

How to fix it

  1. Audit titles/descriptions for explicit gender, age, religion, or disability targeting.
  2. Reframe descriptions inclusively — 'walker designed for limited mobility', not 'elderly walker'.
  3. Even 'plus-size only' framing can trigger; describe sizing inclusively.
