How to fix: Can't access product images

Google's crawlers are blocked from fetching the product images entirely (CDN auth, hotlink protection, IP blocking).

Image issues come from URLs that don't load, file formats Google doesn't accept (only JPEG/PNG/GIF/BMP/TIFF/WebP up to a size limit), images smaller than the minimum size, or images that violate Google's content rules (text overlays, watermarks, generic placeholders).

1. Verify the image_link URL loads in a private/incognito browser session.
2. Check image dimensions: at least 100×100 px (non-apparel) or 250×250 px (apparel). Aim for 800×800+ for best quality.
3. Remove any promotional text, watermarks, retailer logos, or call-out badges from the image.
4. Use unobstructed product-only photography for the main image. Lifestyle shots can go in additional_image_link.
5. Re-upload the feed; image changes propagate within 24–48 hours.

• Hosting images on a CDN that auto-serves WebP — some merchant feeds need the .jpg variant explicitly
• Submitting images that are visually identical to a stock-photo source — Google may flag as generic
