Listing blocked by policy validation (LVIS)

Error 21916293 fires when eBay's Listing Verification & Improvement Service blocks the listing as a policy violation. This covers prohibited, restricted, and suspect items.

Categories include: counterfeits, recalled products, non-FDA-approved supplements, hazardous materials, certain weapons, items that infringe IP, ivory/animal products, and some used cosmetics. eBay's automated classifier runs every listing through LVIS, and human review can follow.

1. Read eBay's Prohibited and Restricted Items policy and confirm your category status.
2. If the product is permitted but flagged, contact eBay Customer Service with documentation.
3. Adjust copy and imagery that may have triggered the classifier.
4. Exclude truly prohibited categories from your eBay feed entirely.
5. Once corrections are live, request a re-review.
