Cannot change condition on active listing

Error 21916930 means you can't change the Condition value on an active listing. Once a listing is live, Condition is locked because changing it would mislead buyers.

Often a feed catches up on a condition correction (a refurbished SKU was incorrectly listed as New), but eBay won't let you flip it on the live listing. The fix is to end and re-create.

1. Identify listings where Condition needs to change.
2. End the active listing (with reason 'NotAvailable' or 'Incorrect').
3. Re-create the listing with the correct Condition value.
4. Add a pre-list validation to your pipeline so condition is right the first time.
5. Resubmit the corrected listings.
