Error 8018 — Listing missing required category attribute

Your product type requires a category-specific attribute (e.g., apparel needs material; electronics needs voltage) that you didn't supply.

Each Amazon product type has a list of category-required attributes beyond the global core fields. The processing report cites the missing attribute by name.

1. Read the processing report — Amazon names the missing attribute.
2. Look up that attribute in your category template's REQUIRED tab.
3. Fill it in with a valid value (check the enum or format spec).
4. Resubmit.
