Error 8005 — Missing required attribute

Your listing is missing a required attribute for its product category. Amazon's category-specific requirements vary widely — apparel needs size and color, electronics need battery info, food needs ingredients.

You used a generic feed template without populating category-specific fields. Amazon's processing report will name the missing field.

1. Read the processing report carefully — it lists the exact missing attribute name.
2. Look up the category schema in Seller Central's Category Listings Reports.
3. Fill in the missing attribute. Common ones: size, color, material, battery_required, hazmat info.
4. If the attribute doesn't apply (e.g., battery_required for a t-shirt), submit it with the value 'No' or 'Not Applicable' rather than leaving blank.
5. Resubmit and watch the processing report for confirmation.
