Error 6039 — Category authorization missing

Your account isn't approved to sell in this specific restricted category, even though the brand may be approved.

Category-level gating is separate from brand-level. Beauty, supplements, automotive, collectibles each require their own approval.

1. Go to Seller Central → Inventory → Add a Product and search the category.
2. Click 'Apply to Sell' on the gated category.
3. Submit required documentation per category requirements.
4. Wait for approval; resubmit feed after.
