The brand value you submitted doesn't match the brand associated with the GTIN/UPC you provided. Amazon's catalog already maps that GTIN to a different brand.

GTINs are issued to specific brands by GS1. If you submit a GTIN that GS1 maps to Brand A but you list it under Brand B, Amazon flags the mismatch as potential counterfeit.

1. Verify the GTIN ownership using GS1 GEPIR (https://gepir.gs1.org) — confirms which brand legitimately owns the code.
2. If the GS1-reported brand matches what you intend to list, update your brand attribute to match exactly.
3. If you're listing a private-label product without a real GTIN, apply for a GTIN exemption from Amazon instead of fabricating one.
4. Don't recycle GTINs from other brands — Amazon flags this and treats it as counterfeit risk.
