Error 13011 — Image file format not supported

Amazon only accepts JPEG (.jpg/.jpeg), TIFF (.tif), PNG (.png), or GIF (.gif) image files. WebP, AVIF, BMP, HEIC, and other formats are rejected.

Amazon's image processor only handles a fixed set of formats. JPEG is the most reliable choice for product photography; PNG works best for images with transparency.

1. Convert all product images to JPEG using your photo editor — quality 85–95% gives the best balance of file size and clarity.
2. If you need transparency (rare for main images, since white-background is required), use PNG.
3. Don't submit HEIC files exported directly from iPhone — convert to JPEG first.
4. Check the URL extension: Amazon reads the extension, not the file's actual MIME type.

• Saving as .jpg.webp from a Photoshop export — Amazon will reject the .webp
• Uploading via Shopify CDN that auto-serves WebP — re-host on S3 or use the .jpg variant
