Error 13010 — Image dimensions below minimum requirement

What this means

Amazon's image must be at least 500 pixels on the longest side (most categories) or 1000 pixels for zoom-eligible categories. Smaller images won't render correctly on product pages and are rejected.

Why this happens

Amazon's product page renders images at multiple sizes — thumbnail, gallery, zoomed. If your image is below the minimum, the zoomed view becomes unusable and Amazon rejects the upload.

How to fix it

  1. Upload an image at minimum 1000×1000 pixels — this enables Amazon's zoom feature, which improves conversion meaningfully.
  2. Don't upscale a small image to meet the requirement — Amazon detects this and may reject for poor quality. Re-shoot or get higher-res from the manufacturer.
  3. Maximum is 10,000 pixels per side — most images well under this.
  4. File size: keep under 10MB per image to avoid upload failures.
