Error 100122 — Safety data sheet required

Amazon requires a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for this product before it can be listed. SDS requirements apply to chemicals, batteries, paints, cleaning agents, and many industrial products.

Federal and state regulations require SDS for hazardous and chemically-active products. Amazon enforces this for both compliance and FBA shipping safety.

1. Request the SDS from your manufacturer — they should provide one for any regulated product.
2. If unavailable, you can have one prepared by a compliance service (e.g., MSDSonline, Verisk).
3. Upload via Seller Central → Inventory → Hazardous Goods → Add a New Product.
4. SDS must be in English (or marketplace primary language) and current (within 3 years for most categories).

• Submitting an outdated SDS — must be revised within the past 3 years
• Confusing SDS (chemical hazards) with TDS (technical data sheet) — both may be needed for some products
